National Recovery Month - September 2016

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration sponsors National Recovery Month every September to "increase awareness and understanding of mental and substance use disorders and celebrate the people who recover," according to its official National Recovery Month website.

In honor of National Recovery Month 2016, Project Clean asked teens what advice they would give to recovering victims of substance abuse who face a pressure to relapse. Their answers were compiled into a video which you can watch here.
